Friday Afternoon Diversion

Believe it or not this is a beer commercial, despite the fact that there's no beer. Or anything that overtly brands it as a commercial. Here's to your weekend; may it be this full of fun and positivity. (Also, and we may be a little biased, it really reminds us of a certain other video.)

  • That's not proper piñata handling either. That dude is lucky he didn't take one in the face.

  • I'll agree with you there!

There is the Carlsberg logo on the invite as well as the cancellation stamp.  They also use a fair amount of the Carlsberg Green in spots.  I assume this will be a series of ads that start with that envelope, take cuts to total 30sec and end with the Carlsberg splash page as an answer to the question WTP?  I would also assume they are hoping to make WTP a viral texting marketing campaign to link to Carlsberg.

  • Yes it's subtly branded, but you really have to look for it. And me? I could care less who sponsors content when it's something I find rewarding. And in this case rewarding = a pretty video I like watching.

  • Hee hee.
