"The Rosie Show" Canceled

Despite rumors that the show was moving production to New York, OWN: the Oprah Network announced that The Rosie Show has been canceled. The last show will be taped on Tuesday and air March 30.

This isn't exactly surprising news, given that, as the Trib reported, average viewership fell from 500,000 when the show debuted to about 150,000 in recent weeks. The show tried to cut costs early last month by cutting staff and moving to a smaller studio, but these measures weren't successful. O'Donnell put her Lakeview home on the market earlier this month.
