Unicycle Loves You has a lot going on lately. The Chicago trio released their third full-length album Failure a couple of months ago, and now they’re touring around the states to spread to word. Oh, and this week they released a new music video for the album’s first track, “Garbage Dump.”

The video features the band’s members and some of their friends dressed in costume and dancing around. There’s a clown, a peculiar cat-man and zombie Miss Wicker Park in there somewhere. The video falls in line with their brand of playful and jangly homemade power-pop—it looks a lot like they just got some people drunk in their apartment and turned on a camera. Good times.

You can watch these crazy kids dance around in person when they play the Empty Bottle April 24, opening for San Francisco garage-pop-rockers Terry Malts. This show’s free with RSVP (e-mail rsvp@emptybottle.com with Terry Malts in the subject line and your name in the body by midnight the night before the show). For now, enjoy the video:

Unicycle Loves You plays Tuesday, April 24 at the Empty Bottle, 1035 N Western, 9 p.m., $8 or free with RSVP, 21+
