Each month Falafill, which will be at today's Dose Market, invites a local chef to create a falafel wrap and donates some of the proceeds to charity. This month's wrap comes from Chris Pandel of Balena and The Bristol and features white bean and Swiss chard falafel, tonnato sauce, Calabrian chili relish, and pickled spring onions. A dollar from each wrap will be donated to the Spence Farm Foundation.

The falafel is light and nicely flavored, while the tonnato sauce (which is traditionally made with anchovies, capers, tuna, mayo, and olive oil) is a little salty. The Calabrian chili relish of peppers, capers, cucumbers, olives, and other vegetables and the pickled onions add acid and spice. Like the quick-service restaurant's previous special wraps, at $6.50 the sandwich is a much more affordable way to try the chefs' food, and a solid lunch option for Loop workers or Lakeview residents.
