We Love Otters Like These Otters Love Cake

It's the 10th annual Sea Otter Awareness Week at the Shedd Aquarium. Well, we're definitely aware of how adorable sea otters are.
The Shedd's six sea otters celebrate with "cake," but don't ask them for a slice. These cakes are decorates "blocks of shaped ice and round enrichment items with colored clam 'frosting.' Of course, no otter cake is complete without accents of krill, shrimp and crab."
While you're there, be sure to see the newest otter Cayucos, who we swooned over earlier this year. Cayucos and four other Shedd sea otters were rescued/orphaned.
