It's that time of year again for white-clad diners to parade mysteriously through the city to their secret final, glamorous destination and experience one of the most memorable events of the year. Diner en Blanc, the all-white pop up dinner, has set a date for 2013.

If you want to learn more about Diner en Blanc, which began in Paris and is celebrating its 25th Anniversary, check out our interview and photos from last year's event. If those don't entice you to register, nothing will. This year, the event will be held on Thursday, Sept. 19 at 6:30 p.m. The location is, of course, totally secret—participants will meet at different points around the city and converge on the final spot. Last year, the sea of white took over the Art Institute, and a rep from Diner en Blanc confirmed that this year's event will accommodate even more people.

If you participated last year, don't worry; you're already on a list. You'll be getting an email shortly with the a code and the opportunity to buy tickets. If not, sign up for the wait list here. Remember, Diner en Blanc serves alcohol, so you must be 21 to attend.

Oh, and Chicago in White, the locally-created version of the all white dinner phenomenon? We haven't heard from them yet, but according to their facebook page, tickets will be on sale soon.
