As Chuck said in the Today's Weather post, the city has officially opened its warming centers. Additionally, though, they've extended the hours of all six warming centers located throughout Chicago. If you are a person in need, you can visit the Chicago Department of Family and Support Services' warming centers from 9 a.m. To 8 p.m., starting today, Jan. 5th, and continuing through Tuesday, the 7th.

From a City of Chicago flyer, here are the locations of the six warming centers:

Englewood Center, 1140 W. 79th St.
Garfield Center, 10 S. Kedzie Ave.
King Center, 4314 S. Cottage Grove Ave.
North Area, 845 W. Wilson Ave.
South Chicago, 8650 S. Commercial Ave.,
Trina Davila, 4357 W. Armitage Ave.
