Two Men Held ln Orange Line Robbery; Charges Pending

Charges are pending against two men held in connection with the Orange Line train robbery that took place last week, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. One suspect was taken into custody Friday evening while the second was identified "through facial-recognition software," the Chicago Tribune reports. Both suspects were in custody as of Saturday morning.
Chicago Police released photos of the two men alleged to have committed the robbery last week.
The robbery took place July 17 when two men armed with guns robbed multiple passengers of smartphones, cash, and bank cards.
The suspects are reported to have also pistol-whipped a woman after she refused to give the robbers her purse.
