Velcro Lewis' Party Comes To You

The Velcro Lewis Group is ready to party and you're invited.

The local rock stalwarts have a new music video for "They're Having a Party," the third single from last year's release Open the Sky. You can check it out below and it is also available on iTunes. A screening party for "They're Having a Party" will be held at Space Oddities (1007 N. California Ave.) 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29.

The video, directed by Kenny Reed, follows a mysterious stranger as he crashes party after party luring all the guests to the next party through some kind of weird mind control and/or chemical enhancements. The final party is hosted by—you guessed it—The Velcro Lewis Group where it takes a twisted, demonic turn and all the guests are sacrificed.

Of course the soundtrack features the familiar acid soul/groove/rock sounds that the Velcro Lewis Group has nailed down.

As for this party, we don't know. Demonic sacrifice isn't really our idea of a swinging time, how about you? What if someone said there might be some weed there?
