Booze Más: Taco Bell Confirms Plans To Sell Alcohol At First U.S. Store

By Rachel Cromidas in Food on Jun 4, 2015 6:05PM

It's official: Taco Bell has chosen that intersection of douchey bars, trendy chain stores and people with too much disposable income who may or may not also have taste, for the home of its first U.S. restaurant to serve alcohol.

Taco Bell reps have confirmed earlier reports that the new Wicker Park location at 1439 N. Milwaukee Ave. will serve beer, wine and alcoholic "freezes" to customers dining in. (Editor's Note: Boozy Baja Blast freezes?! It's a brave new world, America.)

The new location will also sport a more upscale decor than your typical Taco Bell, the Chicago Tribune reports, with exposed brick walls, murals and communal tables with wooden furniture.

We know, it's just the kind of restaurant concept trendy Wicker Park has been missing all along. We can't wait to see electric green boozy barf and stray quesarito wrappers dotting the neighborhood soon.
