Christkindlmarket To Sell Mug Overstock Starting Tomorrow

It's far from Christmas in July, but for dedicated fans of the Christkindlmarket's annual holiday mugs, it's close enough. The holiday market is putting its leftover souvenir mugs from past years up for sale online Wednesday.
The sale begins at 9 a.m. on the market website and will run until supplies are sold out. Past souvenir wares have included snowmen and the much beloved boot-shaped mugs.
The boots had a long, snowy run but were phased out in 2013. At the time, we lamented the loss of our main reason for heading to Daley Plaza in December—to drink spiced wine out of a boot, of course—but now's your chance to own a few tacky pieces of holiday cheer history. Grab a full set and you can have mulled wine out of a boot in the comfort of your own home.
