Your Lolla Weekend Weather Report: Sunny, Stormy With A 100% Chance Of Loud Music

By Rachel Cromidas in News on Jul 31, 2015 1:00PM

Hold onto your halter-tops and headbands—it's going to be a hot weekend, whether your bound for a certain massive Grant Park music fest or not. We've checked out the weekend's weather forecast so you don't have to leave home unprepared.

Friday: Back To The 90s
The temperature could climb into the low-90s by the early afternoon, creating a chance of isolated thunderstorms over the southern half of the metro area.

Saturday: Sun's Out
Slightly cooler than Friday, Saturday is expected to feature stellar beach weather with clear skies, light winds, and temperatures in the high 70s and mid 80s. There may also be a late-night storm or two to the west.

Sunday: Chance Of Thunderstorms
If any part of the weekend is going to be stormy, it's likely to be this one. Forecasts predict scattered morning storms and a muggy afternoon with temperatures close to 90. But don't worry too much if you're catching the last day of Lolla—the skies should be all clear again by the afternoon.
