Video: Colbert Rubs Cubs Players Like They're Good Luck Charms To Will Away Curse

Last time we caught up with Stephen Colbert, the one-time Chicago-based comedian was scarfing down Billion Dollar Popcorn from Lincoln Park's Berco's. According to Monday night's cold open of the Late Show, he still has Chicago on the brain and in his heart—if no longer in the mouth.
In the short segment, the host, decked in Cubs hat and hoodie, fires himself up about the Cubs' chances of breaking their century-plus championship drought/curse.
It'll all work out as long as he keeps rubbing his lucky horseshoe, his lucky rabbit's foot, his lucky three-legged rabbit, and, of course, his three lucky Cubs players. The stoic looks on the faces of Colbert's good-luck trio—Jake Arrieta, Kris Bryant and Anthony Rizzo—as he gives them a superstitious rubdown are worth a view alone.
The Cubs entered the All-Star break needing some good fortune of their own, having dropped eight of their last ten contests. Here's nominating "C'mon fellas, it's rubbin' time!" as a new, official rallying cry for the second half.
