A New Smoke Daddy Location Is Coming To Wrigleyville

We've been hearing for a while about the new Hotel Zachary, the boutique hotel moving in across from Wrigley field, and its awesome food options. There's gonna be a Big Star! Lots of restaurants groups have signed on! Well, we just got a new piece of specific information on a new food tenant.

Smoke Daddy, the popular bbq spot, will be joining the development. The Tribune reports that this will be their second location, and will seat about 300, which is far bigger than their current space.

Crains has a ton of detail on the new spot. It'll be two floors, have multiple stages for live blues, and have two 500-lb capacity smokers.

We've always been fans of Smoke Daddy, and, frankly any decent dining/music options in that neighborhood will improve the scene mightily and are likely to do incredibly well. Once this hotel opens, it's sure to be a hot spot. In case you're interested, we did an in-depth behind the scenes on Smoke Daddy a few years back; learn more about their menu and process.
