A second man is being charged with murder in the fatal shooting of a 2-year-old boy and the child’s uncle.

Police charged Dionel Harris, 19, with first-degree murder in the slaying of 2-year-old Lavontay White and Lazaric Collins, 26. The shooting happened on Valentine’s Day in the 2300 block of S Kenneth Ave, in North Lawndale, according to police. A pregnant woman, Collins’ girlfriend, was also shot and wounded. She happened to be broadcasting on Facebook Live when the shooting occurred.

Harris was ordered held without bond on Friday, according to reports.

Prosecutors on Friday said that the shooting was done in retaliation for a previous murder, the Tribune reports.

Devon Swan, 26, is also charged with first-degree murder in the killing. Swan was also denied bond. Police said on Friday that more arrests are expected.

Collins was shot five times; and 2-year-old White was struck in the back of his head, prosecutors reportedly said. The boy was one of three children under the age of 13 to be fatally shot within four days.
