A man and a woman were stabbed on Tuesday night after a fight broke out at a Dropkick Murphys and Rancid concert at the Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island.

A man, 29, and a woman, 34, got into an argument with another man inside a bar at Huntington Bank Pavilion during the concert, at around 9:28 p.m. The fight then spilled into the venue where the attacker pulled out a knife, police said.

The male victim was stabbed in the neck and face, and the woman was cut on her abdomen, according to police. Both were taken to Northwestern Hospital, where their conditions stabilized. The suspect was taken into custody and charges are pending.

The concert carried on after the stabbing, and some concertgoers didn't realize that an attack had taken place, according to the Tribune.

It's not clear how the knife made it into the venue. Attendees told ABC7 that they did have to go through a security check to get into the concert.
