We've been busy watching the NBA playoffs and analyzing the Bulls' chances for upsetting the Boston Celtics, which is apparently why we've missed this story that has had other sports bloggers wagging their tongues for the past few days. Why anybody would bother to flip over the Bulls logo and think they see a Robot reading a bible while sitting on a bench is beyond us...

Our city's latest sports franchise is the Chicago Red Stars, who will kick off--heyo!--their inaugural season next April as part of Women's Professional Soccer.

It's gorgeous out, that bullshit ordinance is on hold—we need to keep the awesome train moving. Choo choo.

Friend-of-the-site Micah spotted an unusual feathered friend over the weekend and snapped this shot. Apparently that's a Great Horned Owl, chillaxing on the 1400 block of South State Street. H00t!
