Hear It From The Horse's Mouth

If you'd like to witness the next time Mayor Daley is at a loss for adjectives, but can't find time in your schedule to go see him speak on the issues live, Chicago Public Radio's got your back.
The audio isn't the best on the reporters, but pump up the volume on WBEZ's website to hear the Q&A portion of Daley's press conferences, which the station will be posting as a supplement to regular City Room stories in the future. A public radio insider told us that they hope to make this a regular feature, which we think is awesome. How else are we going to hear reporters (read: Fran Spielman) asking Daley tough questions? And why, as tax payers, should we have missed the time he said hamburgers and french fries are a gateway to nightclubs? You could have heard it with your own ears.
Even though the city is now posting council meetings on its website, you rarely see Daley at one of those. Right now Chicago Public Radio has up the November 8th Q&A, but we certainly hope that isn't where it ends. Because that would be just silly, silly, silly, silly, silly.
