Despite Being Bought Out By Binny's, Sam's Warehouse Sale Still On

We've been receiving a few e-mails and instant messages from readers asking if the warehouse sale at Sam's Wine and Spirits was still a go, especially in light of the news last week that Binny's agreed to buy Sam's.

We haven't been able to get to Sam's yet, but placed a call into their Marcey Street location. A customer service representative confirmed that the sale was still a go by re-reading word-for-word the same press release we received. A couple of accounts from readers indicated that the scene inside Sam's was even more funereal than usual. If you do go to Sam's looking for a bargain, try not to dance on the grave.
