Now in its third year, the à la card Chicago deck, a series of coupons good for $10 off dinner at 52 area restaurants, is probably its strongest edition yet. 21 new restaurants made the cut, including Chicagoist favorites Takashi, Taxim, Nightwood, Juicy Wine Co., the Gage and Honky Tonk BBQ.

The deck only costs $30, so if you use only 3 of the coupons in a year, it pays for itself. Let's assume you go to Hot Doug's, Hot Chocolate, and Honky Tonk and spend the minimum $25 purchase required to use those restaurant's respective coupons. You haven't even visited mado, the Bristol, mk, NAHA, Vie or MANA Food Bar, which also are included in the deck. It pays for itself, makes a great stocking stuffer for that one person whom you don't know who to shop for. As always, $1 from each deck sold will go to Common Threads.
