This week on the Chicagoist Podcast Series: Remember when we brought you news about the Chicago Gangland Tour app? It's an interesting idea, a new(ish) way of using social media and app technology for promotional reasons, and we have a general interest in Chicago's gangland history, so we went straight to the horse's mouth.

Jonathan Eig is the man behind the idea for the application as well as the author of the new book Get Capone. He joins the podcast to talk about what an author can bring to the table when a subject has been covered extensively, as well as to find out what the truth behind the Capone mythology is. Also: isn't an app based around finding places where people died violently just a little...morbid?
