New Charges In Bucktown Bat Attack

Heriberto Viramontes and Marcy Cruz, the couple accused in April's bat attack in Bucktown that badly injured two women, were today indicted on 25 counts. Each was charged with armed robbery and aggravated battery last month but a new indictment has come down that includes, according to the Tribune, attempted murder, armed robbery, aggravated battery, and aggravated unlawful restraint.
