Get One Last Fix Of Ministry At CIMM 2011

Though they finally called it quits a few years ago, there's no disputing that industrial metal gods Ministry ruled with a decibel-breaking iron fist with albums like Psalm 69 and The Land Of Rape And Honey during the late '80s and early '90s.
The group's bigger-than-sound blend of thunder-taunting drums and ear-assaulting guitars--not to mention the drug use, personality conflicts, and backstage debauchery--is practically tailor made for a documentary. Enter FIX, a film set to tell the Ministry story (and yet, doesn't include Chris Connelly). According to the official Chicago International Movies & Music Twitter feed, the film will be premiered during the festival's 2011 iteration.
Details aren't firm yet, as the full festival schedule is still being worked on, but the dates for the fest itself are April 14-17. That's plenty of time to catch up on your Ministry, which includes, but is not limited to, what Al Jourgensen was thinking with that Blackhawks song a few years back.
