Having been the victim of a (wait for it) ... dastardly ... crime in which their touring van was stolen under the cover of night, Chicago Americana act Dastardly has decided to soldier on with the January 31st release of their forthcoming EP Bury Me Out In The Country by releasing a clip for the fun, sprightly first single "Fever." Unlike their last theatrical clip, the "Fever" video is more of a performance clip, with band members roaming through various parts of Chicago while yodeling. (Hey, we've all been there). You can watch them duet in the Loop, bang on barbed wire and play on the train tracks, below.

Also, you should have that upright bass lick in your head until January 19, which just so happens to be the date of Dastardly's album release show at Lincoln Hall with Brighton, MA who're also celebrating the release of their Billboard Sun EP. Tickets are $10 for the 8 p.m. 18+ show.
