Riot Fest Announces After Party Lineup

By Sarah Cobarrubias in Arts & Entertainment on Aug 23, 2012 3:00PM

2012_08_22_riotfest.jpg We’re pretty stoked about this year’s Riot Fest, what with its expanded lineup that includes Iggy and the Stooges, The Jesus and Mary Chain, and Elvis Costello, and a bulk of the event taking place amidst a carnival in the too-little-utilized Humboldt Park. But the fest added a cherry on top Wednesday when it revealed its after show lineup.

The festival runs Sept. 14-16, though the after shows will only be held on that Friday and Saturday. The venues for these shows, which include the Empty Bottle, Subterranean, Cobra Lounge, and Congress Theater, are in fairly close proximity to the Humboldt Park, and will feature acts like Naked Raygun, The Dickies, and Fishbone. Check out the full lineup below.

Tickets are still available but seem to be selling out quickly. These shows are open to 3-day-pass holders, though admission is subject to capacity, so if you’re one of these people, arrive early. Also keep in mind that only 1-day and 2-day tickets for Riot Fest are still available.
