We've got to hand it to them - Chipotle has been trying some interesting things lately. From insisting that their pork be sustainably raised to stocking local craft beers, Chipotle has introduced changes that consistently help the consumer, the environment and the community. Their latest change will help the consumer...fall down.

Chipotle announced yesterday that they are going to start serving premium margaritas in all 900 of their locations across the country. Now, you may not have known it, but you actually could always order a margarita at Chipotle. You might not have have wanted to order one, since they were made from a mix - but no more. Now, they will be made with Patron or Sauza tequila and mixed by hand from fresh ingredients.

Huffington Post reports that each margarita will take between 30 and 60 seconds to make. They won't be squeezing fresh citrus in the stores; instead they will be using bottled juice. The cost will be somewhere between $6.50 and $8.00.

Chipotle continues to expand rapidly. They opened 48 new stores in the first quarter of 2013 and their revenue increased 13%. If they can turn out a decent margarita, look for that number to go up fast.
