Check Out These WPA-Inspired Chicago Neighborhoods Posters

Steve Shanabruch has captured our hearts in the past with his Chicago Neighborhoods project—"branding" each 'hood with their own logo—and his latest designs are true knockouts. He's looked to the past, lifting an aesthetic pioneered by the WPA, to create some truly breathtaking new treatments (above) for a few Chicago neighborhoods. Thus far only the South Loop, Beverly and Logan Square neighborhood are available in this new treatment, but we're anxiously awaiting more.

Until those new designs come out we'll have to tide ourselves over with newly available prints of his previous "logo" designs, and these cover a far wider swath of the city so there should be a little something in there for everyone. Order one for yourself and then use it as a resource for housewarming gifts for whenever your friends move to a new location in the city.
