Chicago Food Film Fest Tickets Now On Sale

The Chicago Food Film Fest has already become a staple on our yearly calendars. Packed with events, food, drink and, of course, drool-inducing short films, the festival brings together filmmakers, chefs and fans in a unique way: you can taste some of the things you are seeing.
The fun begins on Nov. 21 and includes four different events ticketed separately. Each involves a group of films and some sort of culinary experience. For example, on Saturday afternoon you can check out a group of films entitled "Edible Adventure #009 (which includes David Hammond's "You Really Should Eat This" series) while snacking on desserts made by twenty different pastry chefs. Total cost? A mere $55. Plus a portion of the cash goes to benefit the Good Food Project.
Tickets for all of the events are available online now. Last year we got a chance to eat at El Ideas as part of the Food Film Fest, to celebrate a short film about a notorious dessert of french fries and ice cream. If you need an incentive to buy tickets for this year's fest, check out our pictures and the film.
