On the heels of their recently announced reunion after a year-long break-up, Chicago agit-rap trio BBU will play live on Nov. 27 at Multi-Kulti. BBU's comeback performance will be opening for Rebel Diaz's album release show for Radical Dilemma. The show starts at 10 p.m.
Beyond that, though, BBU fans will have to wait as the group is slowly easing into making new material.
@audibletreats we starting off slow just with a show. Then we are going to start on some new music. Sorry for not updating ya.

BBU announced their return on social media earlier in November.
New music in the works

BBU first made a splash with their online hit "Chi Don't Dance" before coming into their furious own by way of their 2011 debut mixtape, Fear of a Clear Channel and its superior sophomore follow-up bell hooks, absolutely on the best local releases of 2012.
If "rap is CNN for black people," then BBU is DNAInfo, Democracy Now!, and Paul Mooney rolled into a fast-placed, blistering dance-rap whole. Come on folks, we need a movement once again.
