Divvy Still Unavailable As Of Friday

Divvy, the city's bike sharing program, is still unavailable to members as of post time. The program shut down at noon Thursday due to the inclement weather.

An update from Divvy's Twitter feed early this morning read:


It's the first time the program was shut down since it launched in June. Divvy has already taken steps to prepare for winter by removing bikes from stations to storage to reduce the risk of exposure from the elements. Divvy has still proven popular with the masses with nearly 45,000 rides logged on the system in December.
