The CTA tweeted out Sunday morning that, while Blue Line service from O'Hare to Rosemont stations was still disrupted, the O’Hare station would reopen around 2 p.m. Sunday, March 30.
Blue Line service continues to be disrupted O’Hare-Rosemont; shuttles are available. We plan to reopen O’Hare station around 2pm today.

The planned reopening comes almost a week after train approaching the station at a high rate of speed derailed and crashed into the O'Hare station early last Monday morning. 32 people were injured.
The train operator, 25-year-old Brittney Haywood, has been publicly identified.
Haywood already admitted to National Transportation Safety Board investigators she dozed off and didn't awaken until just before the train jumped the rails and onto the boarding platform before crashing into an escalator. Haywood had been reportedly working a nearly 70 hour work week at the time of the crash.
A battle is now forming between CTA and Amalgamated Transit Union Local 308 over the amount of hours Haywood worked leading up to the crash and her fluctuating schedule.
