It's Whiskey Week

Friday's Whiskyfest Chicago is already sold out, but there are plenty of other opportunities to celebrate whiskey this week. Whisky Advocate has a full list.
Some highlights include:
- Craft Boilermaker Night at The Fountainhead (1970 W Montrose Ave.) featuring both craft whiskeys and craft beers. That's tonight (April 22) starting at 5 p.m.
- An open house at Koval Distillery (5121 N. Ravenswood Ave.) featuring tours and tastings on Wednesday April 23, starting at 8 p.m.
- A Balvenie Tasting with a four-course paired dinner at South Branch Tavern (100 S. Wacker Dr.) on Thursday, April 24. Reservations (312-546-6177) required.
- Delilah’s (2771 North Lincoln Ave.), which has 600+ whiskeys, is hosting the WhiskeyFest Afterparty starting at 11 p.m. Friday, April 25.
- Few Spirits (918 Chicago Ave. Evanston) is doing distillery tours on Saturday, April 26 at 2 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. for $10 a person.
