Maybe we're amazed but there are actually some tickets left for Paul McCartney's show at The United Center tonight. No, we're definitely amazed.

We saw him last time he swung through town and can attest that this is a show not to be missed. His touring band is sinewy and nimble, fillingspace when needed and stepping back when appropriate, with the net effect of being able to swing through McCartney's vast back catalog and making it all sound fresh. And drummer Abe Laboriel, Jr. is McCartney's super secret sauce, giving a glimpse of what The Beatles might have been had a slightly more restrained Keith Moon stepped behind the kit for them.

Plus, Chicago native Chris Holmes opens the show as McCartney's touring DJ and his mix is a joy to behold.

So if this sounds like your jam, get your tickets now.
