We’re a few weeks away from one of the most highly anticipated museum exhibits of the year: the “David Bowie Is…” exhibit at the Museum of Contemporary Art. To tide you over until that exhibit is ready for public viewing, head to the Adler Planetarium Thursday, Aug. 21, where Bowie’s music will blend with the Adler’s exhibits for an evening of stargazing that would make astronomers and Ziggy Stardust proud.

“Adler After Dark: Space Oddity” us the latest in the Adler Planetarium’s “Third Thursdays” series, an intersection of art, science and music featuring Bowie Ball DJ Heaven Malone spinning tunes from all over The Thin White Duke’s career. Learn about the “top 10 oddities” in our universe with a special panel or participate in an Intergalactic Bowie Scavenger Hunt and find the Goblin King dancing in the stars.

Tickets are available here. The event begins 6:30 p.m. on the 21st.
