Can you believe our big anniversary party at Emporium Arcade in Wicker Park is only two days away? Neither can we! It's going to be great. We have a bunch of amazing stuff lined up for you but right now we'de like to make sure you're acquainted with one of the evening's musical acts, Daniel Wade.

We first caught Wade and his band last year, in the midst of a series of most excellent EPs Wade was releasing in lieu of a single album, and were caught off guard by the group's energy onstage, coupled with a great knack for stringing together hook after hook in their high energy power-pop with a gritty rawk edge. When they played Riot Fest in September the band's attack had only sharpened and we got really excited when they agreed to play our anniversary party. You're going to want to make sure you get there before their set, otherwise you'll be kicking yourself all night long.

To get you familiar with Wade's catalog, you can find his last three EPs embedded below for you to stream or download, so you have no excuse to show up unprepared to sing along with the band when they hit the stage.

Also, we'd like to remind you that if you want to partake in the hosted bar you need to RSVP before noon tomorrow (Oct. 22). Please also remember the hosted bar is first come, first serve until supplies run out, but the party goes all night long.
