Chicago's festive seasonal markets aren't just limited to Christkindlmarkt. If you want to shop for holiday treats while enjoying a mug of hot cider or eggnog, here are a few more great options.

Dec. 6- Tasting Table's Open Market: This market returns for a second year at Redmoon (2120 S. Jefferson St.) with a truly impressive lineup of food and drink from over 40 of of Chicago's favorites such as Bang Bang Pie Shop, Mayana Chocolates (creator of one of our favorite candy bars), Pleasant House Bakery and Pastoral artisan Cheese, Bread & Wine. Admission is $5 and you can optionally buy tickets in advance for $5 which gets you one complimentary drink from the bar.

Dec. 7- Fat Rice & Friends Holiday Market: The Macaunese restaurant (2957 W. Diversey Ave.) turns into a market from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. featuring Fat Rice hot sauces, the comic-inspired Fat Rice posters that adorn their doors by Sarah Becan, Mama's Nuts, Perman Wines, CH Disllery's new Romanian Plum Brandy and a rare opportunity to take home private label blends crafted for the restaurant from Rare Tea Cellar and Sparrow Coffee. Grab some housemade punch and dumplings while you shop.

Dec 6 and 7- Renegade Craft Fair : The Bridgeport Art Center (1200 W. 35th ST.) will host this popular market from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. each day. Shop handmade crafts while sipping coffee, cider and hot chocolate and enjoying food from Black Dog Gelato, Dia De Los Tmales, and Puffs of Doom.

Dec. 12- Rebuilding Exchange's Holiday Bazaar: Browse wares at Rebuilding Exchange (1740 W. Webster Ave.) made from local artists and vendors who use repurposed materials while snacking on food from vendors like Antique Taco and drinking offerings from Marz Community Brewing, Gaslight Coffee and more.
