Chicago police released surveillance video and photos of the suspects in Wednesday's theft of a van belonging to doggy day care service Urban Out Sitters.

This footage shows the suspects entering the van at the 800 block of West Superior Street. The Tribune writes the video "appears to contradict an account given by the owner of Urban Out Sitters, who told the Tribune the thieves ordered the driver out of the van at gunpoint around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday."

Other reports confirm the suspects entered the unlocked and running vehicle on Superior Street, and police reported the thieves brandished a gun at people trying to stop the theft of the van.

The van was found Thursday morning at 21st and Wabash in MotorRow. All seven of the dogs in the van at the time of the theft were still inside and later reunited with their owners.
