Emporium's Owner Is Opening A Bar And Weed Dispensary In Logan Square

Does Logan Square's Milwaukee Avenue need another bar? Possibly, if that bar is in the same building as a legal weed dispensary.
Looks like Chicago will be getting drunker and higher—and possibly both at the same time. Eater Chicago reported Monday that the owner behind Emporium Arcade Bars (of which there are now three) is opening a medical marijuana dispensary and a bar on a hot stretch of Milwaukee.
You may recall back in 2013 that Mindy Segal (of Hot Chocolate fame) announced that she was going to open a bakery. The bakery never happened, but this new venture is taking over that same spot. Pot brownies, anyone?
The dispensary, named Modern Cannabis, opens in a few weeks, but there is no menu or opening date for the bar. The location is at 2367 N. Milwaukee Ave., next door to The Radler.
Update: The owner reached out to us to let us know that the facilities will have two different businesses with two different addresses. The dispensary will be located at 2847 Fullerton, while the bar will be at 2367 N. Milwaukee Ave.
