The hottest ticket in town just might be within reach soon.

A substantial block of new tickets for Hamilton will go on sale on Tuesday, Sept. 27, the same day preview performances are scheduled to begin. Producer Jerry Seller and Broadway in Chicago announced on Thursday morning a new 26-week block of seats for performances through September 17, 2017.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. next Tuesday, and can be purchased either at The PrivateBank Theatre box office or through Broadway in Chicago (800-775-2000 or www.BroadwayInChicago.com).

If you do go the box office route, you'll want to arrive early. Very early. And bring a sandwich.

Ticket limit is six per household; and most range from $65 to $180.

If you’re still left empty-handed after next week, remember, there’s always the day-of, digital-lottery option. And maybe Seller will pull another reclamation project and liberate some tickets if they get scooped up by bots—which is practically a given.
