Morrissey Is (Hopefully) Coming Back To Chicago Next Month

It looks like Morrissey's show at Riot Fest last month is no longer his sole Chicago appearance. It was just announced that the singer will be headlining the Aragon on Nov. 27, with tickets going on sale this Friday at $65 a pop for general admission.

His set at Riot Fest made a big impact on us, overshadowing the minor drama that ensued when food vendors were forbidden to sell any meat during his performance. And Morrissey reappeared in the headlines last week when a decidedly non-vegan friendly sandwich was named after him by a local food truck.

We'll warn you ahead of time though, the evening's show time is listed at 7:30 p.m., but don't expect Morrissey to actually hit the stage then. Be sure to budget plenty of time for the 45 minute video show that precedes his sets, something many Riot Fest attendees were unaware of. However we suspect a solo Morrissey show will draw more diehards that already know the score and what to expect. Assuming, of course, Morrissey actually shows up. Though he probably will. Cross your fingers!
