Comcast Hackers Crack Us Up

2008_5_29.comcast.jpgWired's blog Threat Level has an interview with "Defiant" and "EBK," the hackers who took down Comcast yesterday. They say they did it because they hate Comcast.

However they got in, the intrusion gave the pair control of over 200 domain names owned by Comcast. They changed the contact information for one of them, Comcast.net, to Defiant's e-mail address; for the street address, they used the "Dildo Room" at "69 Dick Tard Lane."

Baaaahahaaha. Feel however you feel about hacking, Comcast, whatever: "Dick Tard Lane" is hilarious. [Wired]

yep. dick tard lane is definitely funny, but i do hate hackers. i'm all about sticking it to the man, but this affected more than just the man yesterday.

That's awesome. I agree that this affected more than just the man, but I also hate Comcast. I think the actual breaking point was Network Solutions -- the guys shouldn't have been able to get in there. Both Network Solution and those kids are gonna be in deep shit...

Awesome article. DICK TARD LANE is probably where I live. What's even more awesome is that I work in webhosting and I still find this hilarious.

YES.

Guys, seriously.... stop making fun of this.

...I grew up on Dick Tard Lane. Some of the best years of my life consisted of running up and down Dick Tard Lane, playing softball in the middle of Dick Tard Lane, trick or treating from Dildo Room to Dildo Room as far as the eye could see.

*sniff, sniff*

....Seriously guys.... stop.
