Tomorrow at high noon in Springfield, Governor Rod Blagojevich's impeachment trial will get underway but the Governor will be nowhere near the State Capitol. Instead, he'll be making the media rounds, hitting up talk shows, a move that cost him the services of superstar defense attorney Ed Genson. At least one local network (ABC 7) has said they'll stream the events in Springfield live tomorrow and suspect more will join. But what of the interviews? If you're close to a TV and what some unintentional comedy to get your week started, you can catch Blago on the following programs:
- NBC Today Show (NBC) - 6 a.m. to 10 a.m.
- Good Morning America (ABC) - 7 a.m. to 9 a.m.
- The View (ABC) - 10 a.m.
- Larry King Live (CNN) - 8 p.m.
Blago already spoke to NBC's Today Show, which as noted will roll tomorrow, but NBC previewed a clip today in which he compares himself to...get ready...Nelson Mandela, Gandhi, and Martin Luther King. We shit you not.

Watching him on GMA now. The man is a broken record. The worst part is Sawyer reading the tapes for him and asking what he has to say about it and he ducks the question and talks about healthcare.
Why is he on here if not to put those tapes into context?
Embarrassing.
Also wtf at that Opera comment. Is he serious?
and lastly, i agree that he should be able to call witnesses.
Sorry to comment with the same thing as a newer thread, but I find it appalling that Blago claims to have "twice been voted into office by the 12 million citizens of Illinois."
This idiot received less than 2 million votes in the 2006 general election. Tell me how that equals 12 million? Not even four million people turned out to vote!
There is no end to this man's delusions.
