Peterson Still Talking

Peterson Still Talking

Not content to just go away, Drew Peterson keeps talking, this time to CBS 2. It was the same old, same old from Bolingbrook's Most Notorious Ex-Husband™, who maintained his innocence, insisted his engagement to Christina Raines was genuine, and bad-mouthed the two men who have publicly claimed that D-Pete killed Stacy Peterson. Of course, there's no beating this quote from the interview when asked if he thinks he'll serve jail time: "Innocent people go to jail all the time. And guilty people get set free, so I don't know." Next up for Drew: a book entitled If I Did It. more ›

If you're close to a TV and what some unintentional comedy to get your week started, you can catch Blago on the following programs: more ›

Adventures in Blago-sitting

It seems like just yesterday we were talking about Blago going all crazy in the press. Because it was. After yesterday's Pearl Harbor comments, the WLS interview, and his crazy press conference, Blago is following up with appearances on Good Morning, America, The View, and Larry King Live, all on Monday. And what does all this publicity get him? Nothing, as far as we're concerned, but it did cost him his high-profile defense attorney Ed Genson who is resigning from Blago's criminal defense team. Genson, upset over Blago's insistence to continue speaking publicly, said, "I never require a client to do what I say. But I do require them to at least listen. I wish the governor good luck and Godspeed." more ›

Drew's Engagement: Are They Or Aren't They?

Oh, Drew. Is there anything you won't do to keep yourself in the limelight when someone else threatens to steal it? The latest edition of "Drew of Our Lives" features an engagement controversy. Earlier this week, word leaked out that Peterson had become engaged to 23-year-old Romeoville waitress Christina Raines, an engagement that concerned Raines' family. Now an alleged live-in boyfriend of Raines' has come forward and claims there is no engagement. A man going by the name Mike told the Tribune, "He's [mad] at her and he's trying to get back at her by dragging her name through the mud." Raines' family is beginning to echo this sentiment, even though they confirmed Drew gave her a ring.

Ernie Raines said his daughter is naive and vulnerable. He said that Peterson and his daughter have been dating for four months, but that it was not serious. He said Peterson tricked his daughter into an engagement. more ›
