Today, from 11 AM to 7 PM, denizens of River North will have a new local food option to check out. The Trump Tower Bridges-to-Bridges Market will be setting up along the riverwalk below the tower, and will showcase local farmers and vendors. If you're not a fan of Trump, don't worry - you don't have to go inside the glittering tower of wealth, power and over-priced cocktails to get to the market.

According to The Feast, the market will showcase products from some of your favorite local vendors, including Madsen Farms, Nordic Creamery, Fehr Brother Farms and many others. The market will be on the last Thursday of every month. We're still big fans of Daley Plaza market, but if you're in River North, this might be more convenient. Stop by on your lunch break! Trump Towers' pastry chef will be serving sandwiches and desserts, which promise to be much better than your average fast food lunch.

Yes, but I spent the best $5.50 of my week to get a Nutella-filled crepe at Daley Center. It. Was. Awesome.

  • Aren't they great?  I visit that market regularly.
