Pay attention at Sheffield Garden Walk and you might find worn flowers such as this one captured by Christopher from last year.

We can't believe that Sheffield Garden Walk is now in its 43rd year. It's probably more street fest than garden walk at this point. The focus seems equally split on the garden and architectural tours, and the entertainment on the stage - a who's who of some of WXRT's favorite bands of 1996. Soul Asylum and Mike Doughty headline tomorrow with Poi Dog Pondering closing the fest Sunday. [Sheffield and Webster, Noon - dusk Saturday and Sunday, $7 suggested donation ($10 suggested donation after 3 p.m.)]

Back when Wicker Park Fest announced its final lineup for this year's model, Tankboy called it "an adequate alternative to Pitchfork or Lolla if you’re broke, drunk and squint your eyes a lot" while praising the lineup. (You don't have to go hopping over porta potties to get in this weekend, Matthias.) (Noon - 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, $5 suggested donation.)

Up in Rogers Park, the 6th Annual Celebrate Clark Street Festival does an amazing job of showcasing the myriad cultures, cuisines and art of one of Chicago's most diverse neighborhoods. Last year, over 25,000 visitors ventured out to visit the fest. this could be the sleeper of all three festivals. (Clark Street, between Morse and Touhy, 1-10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, $5 suggested donation for individuals, $10 suggested donation for families.)
