Zagat Names Their 2014 Chicago 30 Under 30

Zagat has released its annual list of 30 under 30, a roster of Chicago's "gastronomic game changers." This year's list represents an incredible diversity of millennials who run businesses, cook, bartend, coordinate volunteers, butcher and even cheesemonger.
We're pleased to see so many Chicagoist favorites on the list, congratulations to everyone recognized.
The list includes:
- Sieger Bayer, Chef De Cuisine at Leghorn Fried Chicken, which opened just this month
- Bryan Bland, the head cheesemonger at Bar Pastoral, Chicago's coziest nook for cheese
- Lisa Bonjour, Pastry Chef at mk The Restaurant, known for her gorgeous desserts that we spotlighted recently
- Joe and Mac Boumaroun, Owners of 25 Degrees Restaurant, which is known for their spiked milkshakes
- Brendan Blume and Matthew Ritchey, Co-Owner and Co-Owner/Head Brewer at Begyle Brewing, Co., which has a unique beer CSA program and has been featured in our beer of the week twice for their Neighborly Stout and 'Always Bet on Black'
- Simon Davies, Chef de Cuisine at Alinea
- Zaida Mikayla Dedolph, Retail Manager and part of the rapidly expanding Intelligentsia empire
- Elana Green, Director of Operations at Land & Sea Dept and part of the opening team for Longman & Eagle.
- Tim Havidic, Executive Chef at iNG where we enjoyed his Salvador Dali menu and he is now overseeing their new brunch during their latest craft beer menu
- Adam Hebert, Owner and Managing Partner at The Radler
- Kelly Helgesen, Pastry Chef at Lula Cafe
- Courtney Joseph, Pastry Chef at Takashi and Slurping Turtle
- Gregory Laketek, Owner and Salumiere at West Loop Salumi
