Humboldt Park was already primed to be bursting with an embarrassment of musical riches this coming September but Riot Fest seems incapable of not trying to make an already great thing even better. Last night they filled out some of the question marks in the line-up posters by adding 14 new bands to that list, including Primus, Tokyo Police Club and The Hold Steady. Primus is probably the highest profile band with the new announcement, leading us to wonder if we might see them also sign up as one of the acts performing a "classic album"—in this case we'd certainly be pulling for Frizzle Fry.

All of the new acts added are:

Primus
Tokyo Police Club
Say Anything
The Hold Steady
Frank Iero
Only Crime
Lemuria
Pity Sex
From Indian Lakes
Lucki Eck$
Tiny Moving Parts
The Bots
The Picturebooks
Survay Says

You can see the full line-up here.

Riot Fest is Sept. 12-14 and tickets are still on sale. They even have a ticket layaway plan.
