Announcing The Return Of Ask Chicagoist
By Chuck Sudo in News on Feb 10, 2015 5:30PM
Several years ago, when Chicagoist was still a newish website and we bounced story ideas around our virtual walls like rambunctious teenagers amped on energy drinks and herbal ecstasy, we ran a regular feature called “Ask Chicagoist” where we tackled the important issues of the day. Such as proper train etiquette; who is the Empire Carpet Guy; why are straight men who like to dress fashionably presumed to be gay by women; who is the “Ogilvie” in the “Ogilvie Transportation Center’s name; how are polling places selected?
No subject was off limits and our advice columnists provided insightful, funny answers.
As we head into our 11th year, we felt the time was right to resurrect “Ask Chicagoist” for a new generation of readers and now we want your questions. We plan to run the first resurrected column early in March, so if you have burning questions about the city’s history, why you can’t get a date, what are your options for dealing with a neighbor who won’t shovel their sidewalk but becomes psychopaths if you park in their dibs, and more, we want to hear from you.
Send your questions to us at ask@chicagoist.com and we’ll get started doing the research necessary to provide you with a satisfactory answer. We're here to help.
