Rooftop Cinema Club—purveyor of the most elusive human dream, outdoor movies with chairs—has cancelled their entire 2016 season at the Magnificent Mile DoubleTree due to a venue licensing issue, a spokesperson for the series told Chicagoist Friday. They've already reached out to all customers who bought tickets to the season, originally slated to start on June 15, to issue full refunds.

Already established in London, Los Angeles and New York, Rooftop Cinema Club still plans to come to Chicago. They're working "very hard" to finalize a start date, according to their spokesperson, and it could still be in 2016. However, it likely won't be until summer of next year.

If you're willing to BYOChair, though, there are plenty of movies screening outdoors in Millennium Park and a kabillion other parks this summer. Like, literally too many to list. Chicago cinephiles, you're going to be fine—especially if you like Winona Ryder.
