Our Prayers Are Answered, Christkindlmarket's Boot Mug Is Back

The boots are back at Christkindlmarket this holiday season. The organizers of the German-inspired annual market in Daley Plaza are bringing the famous boot mugs back by popular demand after pulling them in 2013, according to the market's website which revealed the design for the 2015 mug.

One of our favorite Chicago holiday traditions was stopping by the market to drink out of a boot-shaped mug and it turned out that we were not alone. Despite fans' requests for boot shaped mugs, they stuck with the more traditional mugs in 2014. The Christkindlmarket put some of their leftover souvenir mugs on sale this summer.

The market opens on Nov. 20 and runs through Dec. 24.
